Don't know why I take so long to write!
The Infant and Early Childhood Conference is quickly approaching again this year, and unfortunately I won't be able to be there this year! But I do have a good excuse...
We will be having our 3rd child, a girl this time, at the end of March!!! We are very excited, but this does mean that I won't be attending IECC this year or be doing a whole lot of marketing for awhile. I will still be taking orders, though, so feel free to contact me! I will plan on being back at IECC next year!
Thanks for your patience and I'll post pics of our daughter when she arrives! :-)

After an extremely busy May, I just wanted to say how much fun I had meeting so many new people at both the Just Between Friends sale and the Infant and Early Childhood Conference in Tacoma! There was such a great response and so much encouragement! I absolutely love what I do as I share about my boys and hear amazing stories from families who continue to live in the trenches! One Mom's story about her severely disabled son and her typically developing daughter continues to play out in my mind and I continue to pray for her off and on.
At the IECC, I so loved seeing familiar faces and seeing so much excitement as you stopped by to visit and even passed along some great advice! I'll be developing some new products soon, but I'm currently working on a velcro grocery list that your child can use to take part in the shopping "adventure"! I'm planning on trying it out on Sam and Isaiah, as taking them to shop for groceries is completely draining for me. Hopefully this will keep them with me, and help them remain relatively calm as we race through the aisles together...
Thanks again for the great responses at these events and check out my new special for June!!! Anyone else worried about the change in schedule for their kids after school's out??? :-)

I have two upcoming events that are "upcoming" very fast!!! On May 2nd and 3rd, I will be taking place in the "Just Between Friends" consignment sale in Renton, where I will have a booth available to talk and meet with families coming to shop! I went last year as a shopper and found incredible deals! Come and check it out! http://www.jbfsale.com/home/
I will also be at the Infant and Early Childhood Conference again this year on May 7 & 8. ( http://www.ieccwa.org/ ) It has moved from Bellevue to the Tacoma Convention Center. I am so excited to take part in this again and hope to see some familiar faces from last year! I love these chances to talk to families and hear their incredible stories.
I just lowered a couple of my prices to help make them more accessible to everyone and plan to offer a special of $35 for the Daily Schedule at both of these events, if they're ordered and purchased from my booth. So... great time to stop by and visit me!
Hope to see you soon!
Cori :-)

My son, Sam, and I have been struggling with our morning routine since school started. He has lots of trouble getting up (me too!) and staying on task in order to get to his 2nd grade class on time. So I created a new "Morning Routine" velcro chart to help us both, so we don't start our days arguing and stressed! It lists the activities he has to do in the "To Do / Done" format, like the "Getting Ready to Go" chart. After he completes each activity (starting with "Get out of bed"!), he moves that tag to the done spot. When I showed it to him, he said he was excited to do the "To Do / Done" chart again! I was thrilled because he hadn't used the "Getting Ready to Go" for 2 years. So we started setting his alarm for him to get himself up (independence!), and if he completes all his activities within his time limit, for 5 days, I'll treat him to a donut for breakfast the next day! We've been doing it for 2 weeks now and so far, so good! Big difference!
It reminds me of this last summer, when I started doing his Daily Schedule again for each day. I couldn't believe the change in him! He was so much calmer, happier, more controlled! It hurt me to realize how difficult school can be for him, but also relieved to know that I'd found a way to help him!

Well, I've been wanting to write for quite awhile now, but haven't gotten a chance! I had an absolute blast at the conference! I SO enjoyed meeting all of you! It was such an exciting atmosphere being around so many people who love kids and are actively investing in their lives! I hope to get a couple conference pics up soon as well. But... after many great new ideas from y'all :-) I've put a few new products up on the website! Check out the new Preschool Classroom Schedule, the Song Choice Chart, and the Step By Step Going Potty strip! Thanks for the ideas and keep 'em coming! I've been busy filling orders and would love it if you can email me how S.A.M. has helped your family, client, or school! Thanks!

P.S. Where's our sunshine???
